A clear process. One accountable partner.
Sourcing building materials internationally involves multiple decisions, suppliers and operational dependencies.
Our role is to bring them into one structured process — with a clearly defined scope, agreed responsibilities and regular communication from the first assessment through to final delivery.
You remain in control of the important commercial decisions. MAK Consulting manages the work required to turn those decisions into a coordinated supply solution.
First, we define what a successful outcome looks like.
The lowest supplier quotation is not always the right commercial result.
Before approaching the market, we need to understand the materials, quantities, technical requirements, destination, timeline and priorities behind the project.
We also establish what is already in place. You may have complete drawings and a bill of quantities, an existing supplier shortlist or only a product category and target budget.
This initial understanding allows us to define a realistic sourcing route rather than sending a generic enquiry to a large number of unrelated manufacturers.
The better the requirement is understood, the more accurately suppliers, products and logistics can be matched to the project.

COMMERCIAL VIABILITY
We assess the opportunity before building the supply chain around it.
Not every product creates a meaningful advantage when sourced internationally.
The product price must be considered together with the required quantity, supplier conditions, local collections, consolidation, documentation, international transport and final delivery.
At an early stage, we look for the answer to a practical question:
Is there a realistic route from the Polish market to a commercially worthwhile delivered result?
Where the opportunity appears viable, we define the next steps required to validate and execute it.
Where the economics, timescale or operational requirements do not support the proposed route, we communicate that clearly rather than forcing an unsuitable solution.
Our objective is not to make every project fit Poland. It is to identify where Poland can create a genuine supply advantage.
The process is built around your requirement — not around a fixed package.
Once the opportunity has been defined, we establish how the project should be managed.
The operating plan may cover one selected assignment or the complete Polish supply process. It identifies the required work, responsibilities, commercial structure, approval points and expected project sequence.
Scope
What MAK Consulting will manage, what remains with your team and which external specialists may be required.
Commercial structure
Whether the engagement involves advisory support, managed procurement or direct supply through MAK Consulting.
Project sequence
The expected order of supplier selection, approvals, purchasing, production, consolidation and delivery.
Decision points
Which decisions require your approval before the project moves to the next stage.
We manage the process. You approve the decisions that matter.
Our role is to reduce the operational workload on your team — not to remove visibility or make important commercial decisions without approval.
Before commitments are made, you receive the information required to assess the available options.
Depending on the project, approval points may include:
- selected product or technical solution,
- supplier shortlist,
- final commercial offer,
- samples or finishes,
- payment and production terms,
- consolidation plan,
- transport model,
- and agreed delivery schedule.
Once a decision is approved, MAK Consulting coordinates the actions required to move the project forward.
You do not need to manage every supplier conversation to remain in control of the project.
You should not have to explain the same project to every supplier involved.
Multiple suppliers usually mean multiple conversations, quotation formats, production updates, documentation requests and delivery arrangements.
With MAK Consulting, you work through one consistent point of contact who understands:
- the complete requirement,
- the priorities behind previous decisions,
- the suppliers involved,
- the current project status,
- and the next actions required.
We coordinate the Polish side of the supply chain and return with consolidated information rather than forwarding a stream of disconnected messages.
Less fragmented communication. Fewer missed dependencies. A clearer view of the complete project.

Practical updates, not unnecessary project noise.
International procurement creates a large amount of information, but not every supplier message requires the client’s attention.
We separate routine coordination from decisions, risks and changes that may affect the commercial or operational outcome.
Information from multiple suppliers is brought together into a clear project view.
Where approval is required, we explain the available options and the practical consequences of each.
Potential delays, specification questions or documentation gaps are raised as soon as they become relevant.
Key decisions, changes and responsibilities are documented to reduce misunderstandings later in the process.
A reliable partner is most valuable when the original plan stops being simple.
Production dates move. Products become unavailable. Documentation requires clarification. Packaging arrives damaged. Transport capacity changes. Construction schedules are revised.
These situations cannot always be prevented, but they can be identified, communicated and managed.
When an issue arises, MAK Consulting works to establish:
- what has changed,
- which part of the project is affected,
- what alternatives are available,
- what each option means for cost and timing,
- and which decision is required from the client.
We do not hide operational problems behind reassuring updates. We bring you the information needed to make the next decision.

More clarity at every stage of the project.
You do not need a complete sourcing plan before contacting us.
The most useful starting information includes:
- a short description of the project or product,
- drawings, specifications or current quotations where available,
- estimated quantities or purchasing volumes,
- the required destination,
- the expected timeline,
- and the main commercial or technical priority.
If some of this information is not yet available, that does not prevent an initial conversation.
We can help determine what needs to be clarified before meaningful sourcing work begins.
Bring us the requirement, the existing information or simply the supply problem. We will help define the next practical step.
The first step is a practical project discussion.
01 — You explain the requirement
Tell us what you are trying to source, where it needs to be delivered and what is not working in the current supply route.
02 — We identify the key questions
We determine what information is available, what needs clarification and whether the requirement appears suitable for sourcing from Poland.
03 — We propose the next step
This may be a focused research assignment, supplier verification, procurement support or a complete project supply proposal.
04 — You decide whether to proceed
There is no need to commit to the entire supply process before the project has been properly assessed.
A clear first step is often more useful than a premature full quotation.
Let us look at the requirement before you build the supply process around the wrong assumptions.
Send us the available specifications, quantities, drawings, quotations or a short description of the sourcing challenge.
We will review the information, identify the most important commercial and operational questions and discuss whether MAK Consulting can create a workable supply route from Poland.
You do not need to know the supplier, transport model or exact process before contacting us.
